Course Description and Credit Information
This webinar will provide an introduction to renewable energy technologies and their applications in the built environment. Participants will gain an understanding of the different types of renewable energy technologies and their characteristics. Renewable energy technologies discussed are: solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydro, wave, and tidal. The advantages and disadvantages of the renewable energy is presented, as well as design considerations. Several case studies are presented to illustrate innovate implementation of renewable energy.
