This course shows landscape architects how nature-based solutions can address underlying risk drivers like climate change and unsustainable practices, reshaping the risk landscape. It highlights the importance of ecosystem resilience and adaptive capacities while emphasizing the need to integrate nature-based solutions into policies and practices. Additionally, the session aims to discuss funding, policy opportunities, and ways to tackle inequalities exacerbated by disasters.
