What is different with desert soils than forest soils? Much of what we are traditionally taught about soil is based on an ideal forest soil, but the aspects of desert soils behave differently, and it is critical to understand the differences to effectively design in a desert soil environment. During this webinar, soil will be discussed as a 3 dimensional scientific body. The webinar will provide a breakdown of soil components, geology, the forming factors of soil, solar insulation of the soil, and water holding capacity.
