Course Description and Credit Information

Stream restoration does not have to be an expensive design aspect when working with the natural wildlife to help. This course discusses how the beaver makes for a great restoration tool. It also helps shed light on the common questions involving it: where could beavers work? Where are they a problem? What do we do where beavers alone are not enough? It also talks about the state of the streams, the ecosystems of beaver, when beaver becomes a nuisance, the exploitation of beavers and how they can help restore incised streams, among other topics. This webinar was presented for the National Riparian Service Team.
