Course Description and Credit Information

Adobe Photoshop is one of the most widely used photo retouching software because of its powerful tools that turn impossible things possible in the visual world. This course discusses some of the key features of Photoshop used for enhancing photos and visual designs.

An in-depth discussion and demo is conducted for users to better understand their functionality. Presenters also explain when the right time to use these tools is and what the alternatives are when they must be used sparingly.

Learning Objectives:

1. Assess when it's okay to retouch a photo first.

2. Get a feel of three basic retouching tools.

3. See the magic power of two other tools and understand the need to use them sparingly.

4. Leave with a list of additional resources to help continue learning.
