Course Description and Credit Information
This webinar will explore the art of non-functional exterior architectural lighting in creating dynamic and engaging hardscape spaces. It will review and range of lighting design considerations and technologies to allow practitioners to "paint with light". Various case studies will explore the application of aesthetic lighting.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the impact of light and color on perception and mood.
2. Develop an understanding of lighting technologies that can be employed to achieve aesthetic effects.
3. Describe a range of examples of non-functional lighting designs.
