Course Description and Credit Information

In this course, Dr. Sean Anderson, CSU – Channel Islands, talks about the ecological restoration theories, restoration projects he has worked on over the years around the world, approaches, challenges, and concepts. This course also hopes to shed light on the issues surrounding ecological restoration and reason why this is important in enriching human lives, as well as caring for the environment.

 

Learning Objectives:

1. For participants to understand the concept of ecological restoration.

2. Learn about the different approaches and challenges that come with the restoration process.

3. Get ideas on how ecological restoration are accomplished through sample projects.
