Course Description:
This course discusses the evaluation and impact in creative placemaking as it tries to answer two basic questions: what are you trying to change and how do you now the change has been carried out?
In this course, five panelists share stories that explain the use of the available data to track changes. They also discuss related topics such as revitalization, community narrative, planning, and use of public space.
Learning Objectives:
1. To help participants understand the importance of placemaking.
2. Learn how to evaluate the changes in placemaking efforts.
3. Learn about planning, revitalization process, and community narrative and their benefits.
4. Understand the creative use of public space not just for aesthetic but also for economic and environmental purposes.
