Course Description and Credit Information
This webinar will discuss the USGS hydrological research objectives, regional applications in the southeastern U.S., and the use of the National Hydrologic Model. The hydrologic research objectives discussed are to provide useful hydrologica information to resource managers, improve understanding of hydrologic systems, and improve simulation tools and applications. This large scale region hydrological analysis done by the USGS is broken down into regional areas that can assist landscape architects within regional planning and though the improved hydrological information that they provide when designing large scale projects.
