Course Description and Credit Information
This webinar includes the introduction of Hydrography. Also included is a talk about RiverSpill, and incident management tool. Topics included in this webinar are: hydrology, resource management, pollution control, fisheries, emergency management, mapping, and elevation/hydrography integration. Success stories from USGS hydrology data users will be presented to show real world problems and how hydrographic data can assist them. In the case of regional planning, large scale projects, and for the landscape architects that work daily for construction or fracking companies whose exact nature of their industries demands the use of hydrological data to assist in environmental protection.
