Course Description:
The course aims to provide information and guidance on creative commission opportunities to engage Plymouth communities in the city's nature. The course will cover various topics related to the commissions, including project backgrounds, detailed commissions, proposals, and application processes. The course will produce a series of eight creative works, which will be exhibited as part of an overarching series. The commissions are open to creative industries in Devon, encouraging individuals from different disciplines and backgrounds to participate. Participants will learn about the Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS) project, habitat restoration and rewilding approaches to land management, digital and on-site engagement and interpretation, and future treescapes.
Learning Objectives:
1. Attendees will understand the comprehensive understanding of the project backgrounds, commission briefs, and application processes.
2. Attendees will understand and gain the knowledge and resources to apply for the creative commissions and contribute to the overarching series of creative works.
3. Attendees will learn about the various creative works.
