Course Description and Credit Information

Tree spacing, sizing the tree opening, and water harvesting are discussed as three design issues that impact the long-term health of urban trees.

This webinar will discuss the biological and arboriculture basis for understanding the requirements and look at typical design decisions and how they affect the long term project performance. This webinar shares how design decision can be made to achieve the design goals while meeting the needs of the trees. Ways to change the design approach in order to create sustainable design decisions are discussed.
